Primary constraint: corrective structural work requiring careful diagnosis and precise execution.
The Canada Hills terrace was designed for a retired couple seeking a stronger connection to the surrounding desert. The project centered on a custom-radius curved staircase linking a large elevated terrace to the pool below. The geometry required careful layout, structural coordination, and precise execution to achieve a clean, continuous transition without visual breaks.
Early in the process, we identified issues with the original concrete foundation. Before installing tile, we focused on stabilizing and reinforcing the structure as thoroughly as conditions allowed. More than a year after completion, minor cracking appeared as the desert soils continued to shift. We returned and performed additional repairs at no cost to the client, extending the remediation beyond the original scope.
This project reflects how we approach long-term responsibility. Construction does not end when the job is closed out. Standing behind the work matters, even when it means coming back after the fact. That commitment is why these clients later trusted us to return for a full renovation of their primary suite, including a $140,000 master bath and custom closets buildout in their beautiful home.
