Primary constraint: public-facing commercial build requiring durability, code compliance, and long-term operational performance.
MOD Design + Build was commissioned to relocate and rebuild a well-known local European gastropub within an existing restaurant space. The objective was to move beyond a generic commercial interior and create an environment that supported both high-volume service and a refined dining experience.
Design and fabrication were central to the project. Custom walnut booths, a poured-in-place concrete bar, and curated industrial lighting establish the room’s rhythm and scale. Large garage doors and a pass-through bar window blur the line between interior and exterior, connecting the dining room to a reworked patio and lawn. Every material and detail was selected to reinforce the brand’s upscale industrial identity while meeting the practical demands of a busy restaurant.
